Questions we get asked

A service call is $95. That covers coming out, finding the problem and telling you what the fix costs. If you go ahead with the repair the same day, the $95 comes off it. Quotes on new equipment are free.
Depends on the week. In the middle of a heat wave we might be a few days out; in spring it's often next day. We'll tell you the real answer when we call back rather than promising same-day and then moving you.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 5:00. If you call or send the form outside those hours, we'll pick it up the next working morning.
All the common ones — Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman, York, Daikin, Mitsubishi and the rest. The brand matters less than whether parts are still made for it, and we can usually tell you that over the phone if you read us the model number off the label.
No. Quotes for a replacement or a new install are free, they come in writing with the options laid out, and there's no expiry date on them.
Not automatically. Plenty of fifteen-year-old systems are worth a modest repair. Where it stops making sense is a major part — a compressor or a heat exchanger — on something already near the end. We'll give you both numbers in writing and let you decide.
New equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty, normally five to ten years on parts if the unit gets registered. We take care of the registration for you.
Not in-house. For a replacement most people use their own bank or a home-equity line, which almost always beats contractor financing. We're happy to hand you the written quote to take to them.
Yes, and a fair bit of our work is exactly that. We'll tell you what we find without editorialising about whoever was there before.
No. Everywhere in our service area is the same price. If you're outside it we'll tell you on the first call rather than quietly adding a trip charge.

Something we haven't covered?
Just ask. It costs you nothing and we won't put you on a mailing list for it.
